Former Missouri Secretary of State and former U.S. Senate candidate Jason Kander is announcing a run for Mayor of Kansas City.
He made his announcement yesterday (Monday) and will face more than a half a dozen declared candidates in the race.
Kander is 37 and a former Army intelligence officer who served in Afghanistan, spent four years as Missouri’s secretary of state and four years as a state House Representative.
