A police standoff in Columbia on Greenleaves Court ends safely with an arrest.
Police say it happened just before 11 yesterday (Monday) morning in the 1900 block of Greenleaves court with a report of a person trespassing inside of a home.
Officers say 34 year old Kevin Dean Snyder was inside the house with several outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Several attempts were made to make contact with Snyder with no response when the SWAT team were called in and disbursed gas inside the residence.
Snyder soon surrendered without further issues and was evaluated and cleared by medical staff on the scene.
