Man Shot in Jefferson City

A 26 year old man in Jefferson City is recovering after being shot early this (Wednesday) morning.

According to police it happened around 1 am in the 100 block of Boonville Road in Jefferson City.

The man suffered a single, non-life threatening gunshot wound and was taken to the St. Mary’s Medical Center and then transferred to the University Hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing and additional information will be provided at a later time.
