Wright City Man Accused of Biting Off Man’s Finger During Fight

A Warren County man is now being officially charged with assault from an incident in February where he allegedly bit off another mans pinky finger during a fight.

23 year old Ian L. Maples of Wright City allegedly told the Warren County Sheriff’s Department he accidentally had bitten the mans finger off during an altercation at a house off of Trails End Drive in Wright City on February 8th.

According to police the victim tried to call 911, when he had the phone knocked out of his hand.

The fight then moved outside, when Maples is accused of biting off the man’s right pinky finger severing the top knuckle from the rest of his finger.
