Columbia Homicide Victim Identified Juvenile Detained In Shooting

A 20 year old man is dead after being shot Saturday night in the 700 block of Hulen Drive in Columbia.

The victim is being identified by police as Rovon Blocker.

Officers say they found the man with an obvious gunshot wound upon arrival and medical personnel pronounced Blocker dead at the scene.

A juvenile was detained juvenile who was directly linked to the shooting.

The investigation is continuing.
