Search For Missing Millersburg Man is Over After Body is Discovered

The search for the missing Millersburg man is now over after his body was found last (Tuesday) night.

Callaway County Sheriff’s Department report the body of 74 year old Jerry Kinman was discovered north of County Road 228 in the far southeast corner of the Little Dixie Lake Conservation Area in Millersburg.

A community member operating an ATV as part of the search effort made the discovery in a heavy thicket of scrub brush and vegetation.

A search of 733 acres in the conservation area had been ongoing since July 14th.

Foul play is not suspected and an autopsy is scheduled for today (Wednesday) at the Boone-Callaway County Medical Examiner’s Office.
