Authorities Update Fatal Boat Sinking Near Branson
Authorities are updating the public on the fatal boat capsizing at the Table Rock Lake last (Thursday) night.
A press conference was held this (Friday) morning where officials say the captain of the boat did survive, however the driver of the boat did not.
Thirteen people are dead and four are still missing according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
31 people were on board, with 14 surviving and seven injured after the boat sank last (Thursday) night.
Governor Mike Parson made remarks at the press conference and said now the main focus of the investigation is to unite the families and give them resources needed.
An investigation is continuing.
The boat was owned by tourism company Ride the Ducks.
