Pay Schedule Approved for Mexico City Employees and Public Safety Officers
Mexico Public Safety officers are projected to get a 4.68 raise starting in October.
Mexico recently did a study on the pay schedule and benefits of its city employees in January.
The results of the study showed Mexico was competitive in wages with similar sized communities, with the exception of its public safety officers.
The Mexico City Council approved a pay schedule for its hourly paid officers during its council meeting last (Monday) night.
A one percent raise was also projected for the city’s general hourly employees.
