Neglected Animals Rescued From Fulton Residence

Almost eighty animals are now rescued after being found neglected at a house in Fulton.

Fulton Animal Control and Fulton Police report getting a search warrant after they received a tip of animal neglect at a house in the 600 block of Grand Avenue.

Multiple animals including dogs, chickens, lambs, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, pigeons, hamsters, reptiles and unhatched eggs were seized and taken to a shelter to receive care.

Police report issuing a citation for animal abuse and neglect to 50 year old Melissa Baxter of Fulton.
