Columbia Nifong Construction To Begin

The City of Columbia announced construction of a pedestrian island on Nifong in Columbia is set to begin Wednesday.

The upgrades will be to the road and cross walk at Nifong and Woods Edge Road. They will include a flashing beacon.

The construction is expected to be completed by August 13. and striping will be done by August 20.
