Fatality Accident in Columbia
A fifty year old Columbia man has lost his life after a fatal crash in Columbia at Business Loop 70 and Parkade Boulevard yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
According to Columbia Police it happened when a truck was going north on Madison near the Business Loop then turned on Parkade Boulevard and James E. Markey who was on a 1985 BMW K100 Motorcycle was unable to avoid the truck.
Markey was ejected from the motorcycle after being hit and suffered fatal injuries.
The driver of the truck was uninjured.
