Three Teens and One Child Safe After Jefferson City House Fire

Three teens and one child are safe after a house fire in Jefferson City last (Wednesday) night.

According to the Jefferson City Fire Department it happened just after 8 at the lower level of a split foyer single family home in the 1900 block of Swifts Highway.

The three teens and child were at home at the time of the fire, and one pet, and a cat were rescued by fire crews.

The official cause of the fire is still unknown, however it is thought to be electrical.
