Foot Chase Called Off In Columbia

Boone County Sheriff’s have called off a search for a person in Columbia after a foot chase last (Thursday) night.

The department says it happened close to North Creasy Springs and West Brown School Road.

K-9 units with Columbia Police and the Sheriff’s Department were looking for a person with an outstanding warrant.

The search was called at about 8 last (Thursday) night because of the thick foliage.

Police say the person is not thought to be dangerous.
