Columbia Police Open New Substation
The Columbia Police Department opened a new substation on White Gate Drive this afternoon. [Wednesday]
The facility, located at 2102 White Gate Drive, is the home office of Columbia Insurance Group, who donated the space to increase a police presence in the area.
The space will allow officers to provide meeting spaces for residents, help officers have interaction with the community and complete reports.
The station officially opened the doors at 4:00.
