Watkins Being Investigated For Possible Gag Order Violation
A special prosecutor has been assigned to investigate if a lawyer violated a gag order that had been put in place in the invasion of privacy case against former Governor Eric Greitens.
Gerard “Jerry” Carmody will investigate a “charge of indirect criminal contempt” against Albert Watkins, the attorney for the ex-husband of a woman Greitens was accused of photographing while she was partially nude during an affair.
Judge Rex Burlison is gathering information on if Watkins violated the gag order after a new release and a 20 minute impromptu new conference.
