Paris Man Flees From Highway Patrol in Audrain County After Crashing Vehicle
A search is on for a Paris, Missouri man who fled from the Missouri Highway Patrol last (Wednesday) night in Audrain County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says they attempted a traffic stop of Tanner Spurlock around 9:30 and he fled in his vehicle crashing at the intersection of Audrain County roads 214 and 217 before getting away on foot near the Northcutt Wildlife Area.
According to authorities Spurlock has been involved in numerous pursuits with police in the past, and is currently wanted on an active felony warrant.
Residents in the Centralia and Thompson areas are being asked to lock their doors, remove keys from vehicles, and report anyone on foot in the area to law enforcement.
