Millions To Be Invested in Rural Missouri For Broadband Expansion

Almost 255 million dollars will be invested to expand broadband access for rural Missouri.

The announcement was made yesterday (Tuesday) by Missouri Senator Roy Blunt who backed the FCC Program known as Connect America Fund Phase II auction, which will distribute nearly 1.5 billion dollars to 45 states over the next ten years.

Missouri has secured about 17 percent of the total amount awarded nationwide the most of any state.
