Moberly Residents Target of Utility Scam

Moberly residents are the recent target of a scam involving Ameren utilities.

According to Moberly Police callers over the weekend told people they had forty five minutes to make a payment by a money card, or if they did not their electricity would be disconnected.

Ameren Missouri is asking customers to call 1-800-552-7583 if they believe someone is impersonating an Ameren employee.
