Columbia Listed As One of the Least Expensive Places To Live in Nation

Columbia is below the national average for places to live in the United States according to a report released yesterday (Thursday) by the Columbia Chamber of Commerce.

According to the release Columbia is 6.9 percent cheaper than the national average.

Breaking the numbers down one hundred dollars worth of goods bought in an average United States city would only cost around ninety three dollars and ten cents in Columbia.

The consumer expenditures in the report were based off of grocery items, utilities, housing, transportation, health care, plus miscellaneous goods and services.
