Missouri Needs More Time to Comply With Federal Real ID Act

The state of Missouri is looking for more time to come into compliance with the Real ID Act.

The federal law is asking for tougher proof of identification requirements at, airports, some federal facilities and military bases.

A current extension for Missouri to be compliant with the Real ID Act will end October 10th.

According to Missouri Department of Revenue Officials they are confident that another extension will be granted, and expect to be compliant with the law in March of next year (2019).
