Hazardous Material Team Deployed to General Mills Plant in Hannibal

No word on what the source of a chemical smell was at the General Mills Plant in Hannibal yesterday (Wednesday).

Firefighters and a hazardous material team was deployed to the plant just before noon yesterday (Wednesday).

No injuries were reported and there was no danger to the public.

The Hannibal Fire Department says once the incident is closed they will send out a press release.
