Boone County Homicide Shooting Victim Identified

A homicide investigation is underway in Boone County after a 23 year old man was shot yesterday (Wednesday) outside of an apartment building.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department Louis L. Green Jr. was pronounced dead at the University Hospital shortly after 4 yesterday (Wednesday).

Deputies were called to an apartment building in the 700 block of Demaret Drive after 3, and found Green was shot once in the lower back.
