Major Drug Bust In Hannibal

A large amount of meth, cocaine, cash, marijuana, plus handguns found by the Hannibal Police Department during a search of a residence and vehicle on Saturday.

Hannibal Police conducted the search warrant at 503 North Hawkins.

Officers say they stopped a vehicle of 39 year old Ahmed H. Elder of Hannibal shortly before the warrant was served at his residence where he fled and was arrested a short time later.

Law enforcement say during the search of the home they found 5.9 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.2 pounds of cocaine, 36 pounds of marijuana, 83 thousand dollars in cash and 3 handguns.

41 year old Rachel E. Elder also arrested.

Both were taken to the Marion County Jail.
