Missouri Attorney General Requests Records From Catholic Dioceses

The Missouri Attorney General’s Office is asking for court orders for the Catholic dioceses to turn over records in connection with an investigation into possible clergy abuse.

In a statement from the Attorney General’s Office yesterday (Tuesday) they want personnel records, and records relating to allegations of abuse plus other documents from Missouri Catholic organizations.

All four Missouri Roman Catholic dioceses have agreed to open their records.
