Counselors Available To Students At Columbia Schools After Four Year Old Girl Dies
Counselors will be available to students in the Columbia Public Schools today (Monday) following the fatal accident on Friday involving a 4 year old girl at the Battle High School.
Gabriella Curry died after she was hit by a Columbia Police vehicle on Friday afternoon.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol Officer Andrea Hesse was driving forward on the sidewalk to watch students load onto buses when the girl was hit.
The Columbia Public Schools Superintendent said “We are absolutely devastated by this terrible tragedy. Our counseling team will available through out the week.”
