State Senator’s Aide Arrested After Fight At Jefferson City Bar
A fight at a Jefferson City bar has led to the arrest of a top aide to a Missouri state senator.
Cole County authorities say 45 year old Jared Brown of Malden was booked into jail after police were called to the Spectator’s Bar and Grill last week.
Brown, who is the chief of staff for Republican Senator Justin Brown has not been officially as of today (Thursday).
According to the police report a loaded 9mm pistol fell to the floor during the altercation.
It was recovered by another patron at the bar and Jared Brown was arrested.
The aide is on a leave of absence according to the senator.
