Teen Identified In Fatal Maries County House Fire

The Maries County Sheriff’s Office is identifying the teen who lost her life in a Sunday morning house fire outside of Vichy.

Sheriff Chris Heitman said 13 year old Ashlyn Ellis died in the fire.

According to the sheriff Ashlynn had been handicapped.

An autopsy is scheduled today (Tuesday) at the Boone County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing.
