Missouri River Bridge on Route Forty Closed Due To Flooding
The bridge on Route 40 connecting Cooper and Howard County at Boonville is currently closed due to flooding.
The closure was announced by the Missouri Department of Transportation yesterday (Sunday).
Many homes and businesses have been affected by the flooding in the area.
According to the MODOT traveler map delays along Highway 87 South of Boonville can be expected.
Residents of Southern Howard County were forced to evacuate on Saturday due to a levee breach.
Four hundred plus roads across Missouri are closed because of flooding.
