Higbee Senior Center Closing

The Higbee Senior Center will be closing in ten days.

According to the board of directors the closure is due to not having enough money to run the center.

The center provides meals to seniors and people with disabilities for five dollars, and delivers one hundred seventy five meals to home-bound seniors in the community.

The total month costs are around twelve thousand dollars.

According to the Higbee Senior Center’s administrator the city is looking at buying the senior center building to use for the Higbee city council.
