New Charges Brought Against Audrain County Inmate Accused Of Murder

New charges are being brought against an Audrain County inmate accused of killing another man while in the jail last month.

Prosecutors have now charged 27 year old Ryan Wade Blair with 2 counts of assault and endangering a correctional officer.

Blair was charged with First-Degree Murder on June 13th for reportedly killing fellow inmate 42 year old Michael Eisenhauer.

The new charges are in connection to an incident that happened prior to the reported murder.

According to court documents, jail officials say Blair smacked an officer’s hand and attempted to head-butt officers after they tried to move him from his holding cell.

Blair is also accused of scratching an officer’s face with his nails while another officer put leg shackles on him.
