Two Men Charged In Jefferson City Shots Fired Incident

Two people are now charged after a shooting incident in Jefferson City on Wednesday morning.

According to Jefferson City Police 27 year old Najee Jones was on foot in the 200 block of West Dunklin when he reportedly shot a gun at a vehicle driving through the area.

Police say Jones and 48 year old Rimoli Wease were involved in a disturbance, and Wease sped in his vehicle toward Jones just before the shots were fired.

Both are being held in the Cole County Jail with no bond set at this time.
