Columbia Investigators Follow Leads In Missing Woman Case

Columbia Police confirmed investigators were following up on leads in Cooper County in relation to missing Columbia woman, Mengqi Ji Elledge, yesterday. [Wednesday]

Authorities would not confirm the exact location of their activity.

Mengqi Ji was reported missing on October 10, and her husband, Joseph Elledge, is the prime suspect in what police believe is her murder.

Joseph is already facing charges related to bruising found on the couple’s infant daughter.
