Missouri Lawmakers Pre-Filing Bills For 2020 General Assembly Session

Over 300 Missouri House bills are now pre-filed for the General Assembly’s 2020 session.

Yesterday (Monday) marked the first day lawmakers could start pre-filing the bills.

Representative Kip Kendrick a Columbia Democrat filed bills that include a fuel tax increase that would go toward fixing Missouri’s roads.

Representative Chuck Basye a Republican from Rocheport filed a bill that would make using a defaced gun a felony instead of a misdemeanor offense.

The 2020 session will begin on January 8th.
