Suspect On The Loose After Firing Shots At Ashland Police Officer

The search is on for a suspect who investigators say fired three shots at an Ashland Police officer last (Tuesday) night.

It happened just after 11pm, and according to the Ashland Police Department the officer was in his vehicle and tried to stop a person who was walking that he recognized as having a warrant out for his arrest.

The suspect then reportedly fired off shots at the officer and ran away.
