Several Crashes On Mid Missouri Roads Send People To Hospitals

Several crashes sent multiple people across Mid-Missouri to hospitals yesterday.

The westbound lane of I-70 at the Missouri River Bridge was rerouted to Highway 40 after a an injury crash involving several vehicles blocked the lane.

Another crash in Boone County along U.S. 63 happened when a car drove off the road and hit a guard rail.

A 13 year old and 16 year old, were taken to Women and Children’s Hospital with minor injuries.

A rear en accident on I-70 eastbound in Cooper County sent 89 year old Bertelle Gilmore to the University Hospital with moderate injuries.

60 year old Mitchell Gresham, was also taken to the University Hospital after his car ran into the back of another vehicle and slid off the highway, hitting a utility pole.
