MO House Hearing On Bill To Rescind New Bail Rules

The Missouri House of Representatives will be hearing a bill today (Tuesday) that would rescind the controversial new bail rules that were implemented by the State Supreme Court last July.

The new rules were intended to prevent nonviolent offenders from being stuck in jail merely because they cannot afford bail.

Since the new rules took effect several local sheriffs have expressed their displeasure with the new law.
