The Callaway County workforce will have an opportunity to gain new skills through a MoAMP program.

The State Technical College of Missouri is partnering with the Callaway County Chamber of Commerce to provide Missouri Apprenticeships in Manufacturing Program.

It is designed to aid employers and employees who are underemployed or unemployed.

The program will allow individuals to learn basic life skills, like employability skills, and advanced skills, like industrial wiring and robotics.

The U.S. Department of Labor granted State Tech 1.3 million dollars to help with workforce development issues in Missouri.
