Candidate Filing Sees Seven On Ballot For Missouri Governor

Missouri now has seven candidates for governor as yesterday (Tuesday) marked the first day of candidate filing to be on the August 4th primary election ballot.

Governor Parson filed for re-election on the Republican ticket while State Auditor Nicole Galloway filed on the Democratic side.

Also on the Republican ticket are Raleigh Ritter of Seneca and James W. (Jim) Neely of Cameron.

Other Democratic challengers include Antoin Johnson and Jimmie Matthews, both of St. Louis.

Rik Combs of Lohman is running for the Libertarian Party.

Mike Kehoe filed to be re-elected to the position of Lt. Governor.

Candidates have until March 31st to file their candidacy.
