Man Assaulted With Hammer In Hannibal

A 27-year old Hannibal man is injured after being assaulted by his girlfriend’s father this (Monday) morning.

42-year old Robert Culp of Hannibal refused to come out of the residence and at one point tried to release a pit bull in an effort to attack officers.

Culp was eventually taken into custody on multiple charges including a no-bond warrant as a parole absconder issued by Missouri Probation and Parole.
