Sturgeon FFA Receives Twenty Five Hundred Dollar Grant

The Sturgeon FFA chapter is investing in technology thanks to a generous donation.

Local farmer Rush Farms received a $2,500 America’s Farmers Grow Communities grant from Bayer Fund and directed it to go to Sturgeon FFA.

The funds will be used to purchase chromebooks to assist students with SAE Business Plans among other things.

Sturgeon FFA President Matt Vaughn says that they “are very grateful for the donation that will allow us to better our classroom experience.”

The Grow Communities program partners with farmers nationwide to provide nonprofit organizations with resources to strengthen local communities.

More than $57 million has been awarded since 2010.
