Some Mid-Missouri Colleges Getting Ready For Online-Only Classes Amidst COVID-19 Outbreak
Several universities around mid-Missouri are getting ready to move to online-only classes if the corona virus outbreak gets worse.
According to a University of Missouri spokesperson they are preparing for the absolute worst but are hoping for the best.
Columbia College has already made the move at its Washington location however continues to hold in-person classes at all other locations across the country.
William Woods University reports they are continuing to closely monitor the public health situation related to the virus and any potential impact it could have on students, faculty and staff, and do not currently have plans to move all classes online.
As of now there have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at any Mid-Missouri Universities.
