Fulton Police Chase Ends In Wreck

Two people recovering from injuries after a police chase ends in a 2 car accident yesterday in Callaway County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened around 4pm, at Bluff Street at State Route Z when Callaway County authorities were pursuing a vehicle driven 35 year old Russell E. Hook, and his vehicle went through a red light and hit a vehicle driven by 55 year old Sarah L. Schaffer of Williamsburg in the side.

Hook was taken to the Fulton Medical Center by Callaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies with minor injuries.

Schaffer was taken to the University Hospital in Columbia with moderate injuries.
