Conagra Plant Temporarily Closing After Workers Test Positive for COVID-19

The Conagra Plant in Marshall is closing after 20 workers have tested positive for COVID-19.

According to an email from a company spokesperson, the plant closed yesterday and will not reopen until April 27th.

During the temporary closure, Conagra will pay its employees, including those who can not work due to a coronavirus related illness.

According to the Saline County Health Department as of yesterday the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the county is 60.
