Governor Asking Local and County Leaders to Hold Off on Easing Stay at Home Restrictions

Governor Mike Parson is asking local leaders to hold off on easing restrictions of stay at home orders at least until May 4th.

Parson spoke to reporters yesterday at the state capitol and said that cities and counties can enact stay at home orders that are stricter than the statewide order, however not less restrictive.

The current statewide stay at home orders by the governor are set to expire on May 4th.

Parson says he will give more details today on his plan to reopen the state.
