Murder Charges Filed In Sullivan County After Death Investigation

Charges are now filed in Sullivan County following a child death investigation.

28 year old Makuya Stephanie Kambamba was arrested for first degree murder yesterday.

An investigation conducted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control on May 6th, found that Kambamba gave birth to a live infant in a restroom toilet located inside a private business in Sullivan County.

The infant was later found deceased and an autopsy was performed the following day at the Boone County Medical Examiner’s Office in Columbia.

The woman was officially charged yesterday and taken to the Sullivan County Jail.
