Marches Held In Columbia Over George Floyd Police Killing

A march held in Columbia yesterday (Friday) morning to bring awareness to police brutality against African Americans and the need for accountability and justice.

The march came after days of nationwide protests and a video showing a Minneapolis police officer kneeling on the neck of George Floyd, a handcuffed black man who died in custody after pleading that he could not breathe.

Protestors held 2 marches in downtown Columbia yesterday, one at 11am and another at 4pm.
