Protests Countinuing In Missouri

Protests continuing in mid-Missouri yesterday as protestors gathered in Columbia and Boonville to protest police brutality following the death of George Floyd.

In Columbia, traffic was blocked on College Avenue yesterday as the protestors held signs and chanted.

Last night in Columbia the protestors blocked the intersection of Broadway and Providence.

One incident was reported where a man threw a flaming glass bottle into the intersection.

The protestors were out until 4 this morning, and police have cleared up the intersection.

A protest is scheduled today in Jefferson City on the capitol building steps, exactly one week since the death of George Floyd.
