Thomas Jefferson Statue Will Remain On MU Campus

University of Missouri leaders say the statue of Thomas Jefferson will remain on Francis Quadrangle.

A recent petition for the removal of the statue received 3,000 signatures.

MU President Mun Choi says that after discussion with curators, the decision was made to leave the statue in place.

According to Choi, “We learn from history. We don’t remove history.”
