Columbia Public Schools Releases Plan for Return to Fall Classes

Columbia Public Schools is laying out plans for a return to school in the fall amid COVID-19.

According to an email sent out to parents from the school yesterday (Monday) students will be asigned to sable groups and assemblies will no longer take place.

Some physical education will be happening at desks in the classroom.

P.E. for elementary students will take place outside, when possible.

A survey was also sent out for families to choose whether students will go to class in person or continue online education this fall.

Families are asked to make a decision by Tuesday, June 30.
