Iowa Man Charged With Child Sex Crimes in Callaway County

An Iowa man is in the Callaway County Jail with no bond after an arrest for child sex crimes.

The Callaway County Prosecutor charged 58 year old David Dodds with 5 felony counts of sexual misconduct with a child under 15 years of age.

Dodd is a registered sex offender in Iowa, and was extradited from Iowa to the Callaway County Jail on July 2nd, according to a news release from the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation was started in March when the sheriff’s office learned of Dodd’s contact with a child victim in the county.
